Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 23, 2026

Who We Are

Cleveland Claims is a licensed public insurance adjusting firm located at 8714 Fosdick Rd, Valley View, Ohio 44125. This policy explains what information we collect through clevelandclaims.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers the website only — information you give us after you engage us is also governed by our written service agreement.

Information You Give Us

When you submit a claim, request a consultation, or contact us through a form on this site, we collect what you provide, which may include:

  • Your name, phone number, email address, and property address

  • Your company name, if you're contacting us as a contractor

  • Information about your loss: cause of loss, date, damaged areas, age of damaged materials, and your description of what happened

  • Your insurance carrier and policy or claim information

  • Approximate property value

  • Photographs, estimates, correspondence, declarations pages, and other documents you upload

Some of this is sensitive. We ask for it because we can't evaluate a claim without it, and we treat it accordingly.

Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, this site automatically records basic technical information when you visit — IP address, browser type and version, device type, pages viewed, and referring page. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Evaluate whether we can help with your claim and respond to your inquiry

  • Provide our services, including reviewing your policy, documenting your loss, preparing estimates, and communicating with your insurance carrier on your behalf once you've engaged us

  • Maintain the claim records Ohio requires licensed public adjusters to keep

  • Improve the website and understand how visitors use it

  • Send you information you've asked for, such as a response to your inquiry. We do not send marketing emails or newsletters.

We do not sell your personal information.

How We Share Your Information

We share your information only as needed to do the work or as the law requires:

  • With your insurance carrier and its representatives, once you have engaged us, because presenting your claim is the service you hired us to perform

  • With service providers who support our business, such as Wix, our website hosting provider

  • With professionals involved in your claim, such as engineers or contractors preparing estimates, where that is necessary to document your loss and you have authorized it

  • When required by law, including in response to a subpoena, court order, or a request from the Ohio Department of Insurance

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Cookies and Tracking

This site uses cookies to keep it working properly and to understand how visitors use it. You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well if you do. We do not use advertising or retargeting pixels.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep claim-related records for at least three years, consistent with the record-keeping obligations Ohio imposes on licensed public insurance adjusters, and longer where a claim, dispute, or legal requirement calls for it. Website inquiries that don't become claims are kept only as long as needed for follow-up.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you send us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security — but if you'd prefer not to send sensitive documents through the website, call us at (216) 530-6382 and we'll arrange another method.

Your Choices

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing contact@clevelandclaims.com. We'll respond promptly, though we may need to keep certain records to meet our legal and regulatory obligations as a licensed public adjuster.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent version, and material changes will be noted on this page.
