Tools and Learning

Frustrated? You Are NOT Alone.

Most denied claimants don't fight back — not because they're wrong, but because the process feels overwhelming. There's no reason to fear what you don't understand. We help you understand the details of your policy, your damages, and the estimate, so you can respond intelligently and effectively to your adjuster's denial.

Knowledge

Insurance companies count on first-time claimants not knowing the details. A basic understanding of your policy and your damages makes all the difference in the outcome of your settlement.

Persistence

Your job as the claimant is to be persistent. Learn how to hold your insurance company accountable to its legal duties — to respond, and to meet its deadlines.

Hard Times, Less Hard

A denial or lowball offer lands at the worst possible time — while you're also dealing with the damage itself. We take the claim off your plate: the documentation, the paperwork, the back-and-forth with the carrier, so you can focus on your family and your home instead of fighting an insurance company alone.

Real Advocates, Real Results

We don't just review your claim — we build the case for it. Every estimate, every piece of documentation, and every negotiation is aimed at one outcome: the full, fair settlement your policy actually owes you.

If your claim isn't denied outright — just underpaid, or you're not sure whether the offer is fair — you may not need full representation. Our Estimate & Claim Review service gives you an independent Xactimate estimate, a policy review in plain English, and a plan for what to ask for, all for a flat fee. No percentage comes out of your settlement.

If your contractor is the one who told you the offer looked low, they were probably right — and they can be part of the conversation once you authorize it.

Ohio law sets real deadlines and duties for insurance carriers — they can't just sit on your claim indefinitely. Knowing what your carrier is required to do, and by when, is one of the most powerful tools you have as a claimant. If your carrier has gone quiet, missed a deadline, or given you a denial that doesn't add up, that's often the moment a public adjuster makes the biggest difference.

We're dedicated to our policyholders because we understand what homeownership means, and how much people rely on their insurance in a crisis. Many homeowners file only one insurance claim in their entire life — often during one of the hardest moments they'll face. We know that claim can be the difference between recovering from a devastating loss and facing real financial hardship. Our commitment goes beyond resolving disputes; it's about empowering homeowners and protecting the investment they've worked hard for.

Our Mission and Story

Our journey began in catastrophe adjusting, working alongside large insurance companies and seeing firsthand the often-unfair practices behind how claims get paid. We saw policyholders getting shortchanged again and again — and we started Cleveland Claims because we're passionate about changing that.

We're committed to making sure every client gets the fair compensation they deserve — standing up to powerful insurance companies that too often put profit ahead of people.

What Makes Us Different

We only get paid as a percentage of what we recover for you. If we don't get you more than your original offer, you don't owe us anything — our incentives are aligned with yours from day one.

No Recovery, No Fee

Small Claims Get Help Too

A lot of claims land in the $10,000 to $20,000 range: a section of roof, a burst pipe, a tree through the gutters. Many public adjusters pass on claims this size, because a percentage of a smaller settlement doesn't cover their time. That can leave homeowners with a real loss and no one in their corner.

Our Fixed-Price Claim and Policy Analysis was built for exactly these claims. For one flat fee, quoted before you commit, we review your policy and your carrier's estimate, identify what's missing or undervalued, and give you a clear plan for what to ask for. You keep control of the conversation with your insurance company, with the documentation to back you up, and you keep 100% of your settlement.

On a $15,000 claim, a typical 10–15% contingency fee would be $1,500 to $2,250. Our analysis costs a fraction of that.
